I’ve been involved with Web design, programming and development since 1994, including working with Flash since it’s introduction in 1996. I’ve been working with Drupal for 2 years now, with experience in creating small to large sites. I am an expert on using Drupal for social networking and integrating Drupal with Flash.
After programming for 25years and hoping to sell Solar Panels off my web site for 5 years, I hit upon Drupal. Only, a year ago, I started to create some sort of group management community software all by my lonesome self. Thank God for Drupal and it’s many community members. Now, I can see a way to a manageable software framework. And, I am not so lonesome anymore. But, being a programmer, perhaps now obsessively, I have driven deeply under the hood hoping to tweak out of it some awesome power. And yes, Drupal is the sort of engine you can add some nitro to. So, don’t run away, yet. I’ve made some Rolled Oats to help you run past the competition.
I have built a few sites over the years http://prisonactivist.org, http://usworker.coop, the intranet at where I work, my own site http://caffed.org (being redesigned), and also one in the works. I am looking to learn more about advanced Drupal topics in order to build better community based sites and to contribute back to Drupal however I can.
