Filesystem management for multiple Drupal sites
Session Description
Would like to coordinate a roundtable discussion/demo on best practices in file system & web server management for running multiple Drupal sites off one installation, and allowing for fuss-free upgrades.
I’ll bring my own experiences but this is not a tutorial. I hope to learn from others as well as be of use.

The bread and butter things I want to discuss are how to best organize a filesystem to allow for adding more virtual hosts, making upgrades easy and so on.
Options can be set in httpd.conf, in DocumentRoot (with symbolic links), and by Drupal at various levels.
I’ve tried it a number of ways & don’t always get the results I expect – have learned a few things I can pass on, and hope to learn more.
I’ll bring a laptop & see if I can break Drupal :-)
