Session Description

With an average of ~5,000 downloads a month – and a very active online forum – the CiviCRM community of end-users, implementors and developers is clearly growing and thriving. However, almost all of the interactions in the community occur online. As a member of the core team – I’d love to have a chance to sit in the same room with folks who are using and deploying CiviCRM and share our experiences. The agenda can be shaped by folks in the room – with the potential to include:

  • Best practices, tricks and tips
  • Things I learned “the hard way”
  • Is there any way to do this…?
  • I really need CiviCRM to do xyz… How can I help get this feature added to the platform?
  • 2.0 and beyond – the future roadmap

I am a core team member and co-founder of CiviCRM - a constituent relationship management solution for advocacy, non-profit and non-governmental groups which is integrated with Drupal. Prior to CiviCRM, I worked at Groundspring.org - and have many years of experience in the financial software industry.
